Fabulyss Warm-Weather Events… And a Root Canal! – June 6 ’12

Hi DivaMoms! So I’m off bright and early to get the second part of my root canal done this morning (ouch)! After all, I need to make sure I’m ready for the 2012 Baby Buggy Bedtime Bash today! The event is going to go from 4:30 until 7:30 at the Victorian Gardens at Wollman Rink in Central Park and I am SO excited (I am praying that it doesn’t rain)! Baby Buggy is an amazing organization; every month, Baby Buggy helps about 2,000 families and 2,600 children all over the country, including those in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York, and Washington, DC. I hope to see all of your smiling faces there!!!

Before I talk about the craziness and excitement all going into preparing for the fabulyss events we have coming up, I have to say that yesterday was an unbelievable day; my little Olliepop graduated from pre-k! I literally had tears in my eyes when he sang his graduation songs with his classmates. He looked so grown-up and handsome and I absolutely can’t believe that he is starting KINDGERGARTEN in the fall. Where has the time gone?! Brian and I could NOT believe that today was his last official day of school. SO proud of him! Look at these handsome graduates! Xoxo

This fabulyss evening will not only honor the wonderful Christie Brinkley, but will also benefit the South Fork Natural History Museum which is an AMAZING place for families to visit and learn about nature—and somewhere I can’t wait to take my boys! SOFO goes SOHO will feature music by Nick Cohen and Alexandra Richards and will definitely be a fun evening benefiting an awesome place!!! So, I JUST submitted my 4th of July piece for Social Life Magazine and I’m excited for all of you to read it! With Fathers’ Day and the fourth coming up, you can imagine how hectic the office has been; we have fabulyss products coming in that I can’t wait to share with all of you. Ollie and Jax can’t wait to spend time with Brian on Fathers’ Day! Hope you are all planning something special! Hopefully we get a bright, sunny weekend.

Speaking of bright and sunny, I LOST my FAVORITE pair of Tom Ford sunglasses!! How upsetting? I am on the hunt for a new pair of fabulyss summer shades; if anyone has a suggestion please let me know! Everyone needs that perfect pair that she reaches for every morning in the summer.
